Spider-Man No Way Home coming soon to DVD and 4K Blu-Ray

Become in the space of a few weeks one of the most profitable films of Hollywood, Spider-Man No Way Home will soon arrive in homes. First of all, we know that the film from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios will be available in digital version on platforms like iTunes or Vudu from March 22, 2022 . We do not yet know when or even if Netflix will be able to display it on its platform like the two previous components available in Canada.

Then, for lovers of physical copies, Sony Pictures revealed, via an image that blithely spoils the film and which I will not share here, that its superhero film will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 4K from April 12, 2022 . We do not yet know the exact content of these versions in terms of bonuses. But we can bet that we will find the traditional cut scenes, the gag-reels , or even a commentary by director Jon Watts and a making-of.

Also, don't hold your breath until the movie hits Disney+ because it won't. Or at least not for now. Although this co-production involves Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, it is the latter company that owns the distribution rights. It is therefore not in his interest to make a “gift” of it to Marvel. It is for this reason that Spider-Man Homecoming and Spider-Man Far From Home are not on Disney+ (but on Netflix) while Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings and Eternals are there.
